SG:A is good simply because the characters have a very specific drive that is focused on a single goal, a goal towards which they always strive. Because of this, there is a lot less of an 'episode by episode' kind of feel to the series. Even episodes that don't involve the wraith are focused in the direction of dealing with. I've watched everything up to halfway through the second season using Limewire, so I won't go into any more discussion, for fear of spoilers.

UK is now into season 2, with the new season of SG1 also airing. Gotta say I love both series', and I think the way that the characters interact are fantastic. I was looking back at previous posts, especially at the talk of there being two sets of Ancients! Good job it's Halloween, because spooky as it seems, the new SG1 series is indicating, at the least, there are 2 sects. And the Or-i definately don't seem too friendly! ;D

I think the second season of Atlantis is much better than the first. That being said, it could use a bit of tweaking.

yeah a bit of tweaking is pretty much what they did to it this season, I am starting to come around to the new vharacters though it is really hard for me to see Skinner in a role that is just so not the X-files(yes I am a BIG X-Files fan too)
