To me one of the greatest scifi shows that has ever been made...by the great maker himself...JMS...J Michael Stryzinski...spelling may be off...you know who I am talking about

I wish they would get another JMS driven show out,I miss watching his shows. The edge and the story arc's, the characterization, all of it-

There was another one that was on showtime I think...it was a post apocaliptic type show called "Jeremiah" with luke perry and malcomb jamal warner....lasted just 2 seasons

Well since JMS was tired of dealing with Suites over how Jeremiah should go he decided to leave the show at the end of the second season, so its a good thing that is ended when it did, because if it had gone on the show just wouldn't have been worth watching.
Its interesting thou that JMS as offered to revitalize the Star Trek franchise, but since Rick Berman wants to keep creative control over the franchise I don't see anything like this happening.

Yeah,I know, but he was told that they(the studio) want to let Trek rest for awhile before bringing anything else out-which I spose might be a good thing-but not having any new trek on the air is going to be interesting,to say the least-

Well tehy should have let the series rest after DS9. If they had then maybe something better could have been producted. Still I liked the idea of Enterprise, but they just didn't have a clear plan with what they were going to do with it.

Yeah I agree they pretty much butchered the entire Star Trek franchise, bringing in the borg, doing different5 things that should not have been done- but then I didn't get to see the whole thing so I may not be the best person to comment

well the Rumor(I am not sure about it) is that the powers that be have asked him to do another show-which is why he asked the fan's to stop the e-mail campaign-so here's hoping another great JMS creation gets put out!!!!

Well at is an optimistic possibility it could be that TPTB simply figured that they could stop the emails by asking JMS to ask the fans to stop. After awhile Networks start to get sick of getting hit with so much mail. But I think that I'll hope for the possible success for a new series from the creative mind of the Great Maker.

Well JMS himself has said that it was shelved--but he would like to get it done, maybe they came up with a way to do it, but I wouldn't hold my breath until JMS himself comes forward with it.
