After the babylon 5 movie "A Call To Arms" the ship that helped destroy the death cloud embarks on a mission to find a cure for the drahk plague...Commanded by Captain Gideon...The crew of the Excalibur tries to find a cure...another series that was short lived that I liked
Did anyone watch or remember this show?...I have a few of these episodes that are in avi or mpeg format that I will transfer to anyone thru a messenger if you are interested..your media player and or divx will play these

Yeah, I got to watch all the episodes, I was a part of a sci-fi group a few years back and one of our members got a friend from the US to mail them the epiosdes. The show was great though it was funny how they tried to explain the changes in the uniform because Sci-fi decides to through more money in the show.

yeah it is kind of a bummer that we never knew what happened-did they get the cure or did earth die off, that is one heck of a cliff hanger for you, this show really deserved a pick-up, I thought it was every bit as good as some of the other shows that got to keep going.

Actually from the end of the fifth season of B5 you get that in the end of Crusade they would find the cure. At the end of Season 4 the episode "The Deconstruction of Falling Stars" Where we are given glimpse of what takes place after the formation of the Interstellar Alliance, one of which is an apperance of Delenn on Earth around 2362.

I remember...I just would have liked to seen it from the crusade side and see more about what happened in greater detail

Well I had to look up the episode title to pin point it down myself. Though I to would have liked to have see it happen in Crusades, I would like to know if JMS was going to end the search half way through the series or right to the last episode. Cause lets face it we don't know how they discovered the cure.

or if they were handed the cure by some other race, or if someone else found the cure-etcx etc leaves it too wide open.

You got that right. Which is odd because JMS usually is a little more open about these things.

A lot of people complain that Crusade lacked direction, but my argument has always been that the first Season of Babylon 5 appeared to have no direction, too... and look where that went. I think that, if it had been given time to do so, Crusade would have become an equal (or close) to the quality of Babylon 5.

I am sorry to say I was one of those people that didn't really get into Crusade. Don't get me wrong, when I look back at some of the episodes (and acting) in B5 series 1, I am left Cringing . However, I feel that something that followed such a great show like B5 really did need a powerful direction from the off. I did watch all the Crusade episodes and would agree with Speardane; the series deserved a longer chance at proving itself. After all JMS had already proved himself in a world that, at the time, was completely dominated by Star trek. ;D

you are right on the mark there, but Star Trek is what gave us all the chance to see great shows like B5, Crusade, Blakes 7 just to name a few..........
