This is taken off of Sci-fi News Of The Week
Jolene Blalock, who plays T'Pol in UPN's canceled Star Trek: Enterprise, told the Toronto Star that she's not happy with the upcoming series finale, which airs in May. "I don't know where to begin with that one," she told the newspaper. "The final episode is ... appalling."
Blalock declined to elaborate, but otherwise had praise for this season's storylines, many of which hearken back to the original Star Trek series.
The fourth season "was a treat, a joy, to do," Blalock said. "It was an unexpected surprise to have the scripts that we did. And I am grateful and thankful for that. It was fun to come to work again."
Enterprise's fourth season was overseen by producer Manny Coto, an avowed fan of all things Trek. "It was certainly much better than spending another season doing what we had been doing," Blalock told the newspaper. "It said a lot about the potential of the show."
Enterprise has wrapped production in Los Angeles and the final episode, "These Are the Voyages," with guest stars Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis, airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT May 13.

Not surprised by this, a lot of the actors that have worked on a star trek series all feel that the whole franchise has come to a dead end. As well think that it would be a good idea to give the thing a long rest before coming out with something new.

Well I have read that they told Joss Whedon, they wanted to let Star Trek lie for a couple of years before trying to do anything else.

The part I dislike about the end of Enterprise is the fact that it was supposedly pre-Star Trek, and they cancelled it before it finished which sort of put an end to space travel before it had a chance to continue. I guess Star Trek, TNG, Voyager, and Deep Space Nine are in another time line - ;D

Paramount has pretty much said they don't plan on continuing with Star Trek for at least a couple of years. I think it will probably take a change in the fortunes of UPN or Paramount to spur them onto another Trek series or film.

*****************SPOILERS ALERT************** ********************************************
The way they are ending makes it look like it never really happened that way so, it all seems like a waste to me.
**********************************SPOILERS OVER*****************************************
But I do agree that they may need to let it rest for a short while to re-group, get new story line's and get new idea's flowing in other words get it back together.

Malcolm Reed Anthony Montgomery - Ensign Travis Mayweather Linda Park - Ensign Hoshi Sato Connor Trinneer - Commander Charles "Trip" Tucker III (Especially Archer and Trip & PORTHOS - the first Beagle in space!) I know a number of people felt cheated that the last episode kind of ended up being a Next Gen episode with them watching Enterprise. I hope the next time they do a Trek film or series they do get someone like Josh involved in it because I think they do need some new ideas and a new approach to a Trek show. I also think Josh could get the fans really fired up about a new Trek show.
