Did anyone else catch this when it was on Sci-fi in Dec? I was really hoping it would have gone into more depth, I loved the books but the Mini-series cut too much out, It left some of the better parts, but it cut alot of it out.

Well I did get to watch it, but I haven't read the book so I can't say how it didn't do the book justus, but I did feel that the whole thing was rushed, especially the second part of it.

yeah it was way too "mini-ish" to be great- I wish the studio's in general and Sci-fi in specific would do decent sized mini's- you now like they did with the North and the South mini series make it 6-8 hours or more. That is the only way to make decent show's out of great books.

heck it doesn't even make for a good mini- maybe as a closer/opener for a season break(love cliff hanger endings)it would be ok, but you can't do a whole show that way, that was one of the problem's I had with Farscape Peace Keeper wars--It was just like the series was--which was awesome-but it really isn't an ending-They created too many questions with it. It may be the end of one era, but what come's after that era? You can't tell me that John, and Aeryn, and Baby D are going to be happy just floating through space on Moya forever and ever.

Sure there was a lot of loose ends to the Farscape movie, but that just means that there is room for them to do another movie, or two , or three

I liked the little mini-series. I think they did the best they could in the time they had to do the movie. Four hours is not long enough for a good movie, but if it ends with doubt(like what will happen next) then they'll make another movie, if the ratings were good enough.

hopefully they do that. I just wish it would have been longer to get a better feel for the book it was based on.
