The wife bought me the final film in the Blade Trilogy, just wondered what others fealt on the subject. I like the premise of Blade and think the first film was an 8/10. Blade 2: I really liked the new creatures (and even thought Luke Goss from Bros was good!). The idea of the BloodPack was excellent too. However, it just didn't seem to have the same grit as the first (I think the way the vampires died in a shower of sparks didn't sit as well with me as the ash or dust effect from the first film). 7/10. I enjoyed Blade 3 and would put it at 7.5/10. I thought the effects were good and I even enjoyed the humour from Ryan Reynolds (and I noticed this was slated in some reviews). But my real gripe and question to all you Bloodsucking Fans out there is, did they make Dracula 'Bad' enough? I mean this is the Lord of the Vampires, it didn't seem that: 1. The other Vamps showed him enough respect. 2. He (maybe the actor?) didn't seem evil enough. 3. Character:None. I mean he could have been just another Vamp apart from the transformation at the end. I thought the villains from Blade 1 & 2 were better. I expected this guy to be like Sauron or the Witch King from Lord of the Rings! What do others think

I thought that the Blade movies were well done but they did need improvement. Were you aware that Blade was based on a Marvel Comics character?

The Third film in the series is the only movie I have yet to see. I don't know when I'm going to get around to being able to. I'm hoping that I'll either get it for Christmas from my brother or when I start working I'll pick it up then.

I know there was talk of a Blade TV series but I think now the word is the project isn't going to develop. Kind of a shame, because it might have made a good show.

I think that a Blade TV series wouldn't be as good as it just being movies. For a Blade TV series to work it would have to be as dark and violent as the movies are, and TV networks don't like it when TV shows are that dark.

Enigma, I tend to agree with you about the whole Dracula not being Dracula thing, he was not portrayed as well as I thought he should be. over all I thought the movie was well done but I had a few little tweeks that I thought could have been better. I love the way they hand everything over to the next generation of vampire hunters, even if you know that something horrible is going to happen to that particular group, it gives you the feel that someone will always be there to fight them.
