It looks like the movie and comics character Blade might be coming to television
David Goyer has tracked down the man to take over Wesley Snipes’ leather Blade pants on the small screen.
Kirk “Sticky” Jones was last seen at cinemas in Flight Of The Phoenix, playing a passenger on the ill-fated plane. But he’s better known as hip-hop frontman Sticky Fingaz for Onyx.
Goyer is producing and writing a pilot for the Blade TV show – which will continue the half-human/half-vamp’s battle against the bloodsuckers with Blade comic author Geoff Johns.
They’ve only got the nod for a pilot so far, but should they get a series commissioned, expect to see plenty of Blade-style action. But don’t expect the Nightstalkers. “Instead, it’s planned that our hero will be partnered with Buffy-alike female warrior."
It sounds like it might be a good tv series.

I don't know the movies were going down hill what with the last one. I thik that to do this TV series right it might be hard to do since they will more than likely try to do the series not where the movies end but probably do a pilot that sort of retells the story of Blade. I'm of course guessing this since I haven't had the time to do any reading up on the show becuase of school.
