A number of news agencies have reported that the new ABC remake of The Night Stalker has been cancelled by the network. Production has been shut down. There is no word on how many of the 13 episodes have been produced, nor how many more unshown episodes will be aired.

I'm not to surprised that the series getting canceled. It is a series that is a hard sell to a wide audience, though I think that the show could do well it is was done as a direct to DVD style of show. Something that I thinnk that we will be seeing happening with some show in the next couple of years. Well with the show canceled I wonder if the rest of the episodes will be put up on Apple iTunes store?
