One of the best ones yet
It begins in a college town in Iowa when college student laurie is out with a frat boy and they are parked in a secluded place under a bridge
(does this sound famailiar)
Naturally they are not alone a shadowy figure appears with a hooked hand the guy steps out and see a invisible force scratch the side of some street signs and his car , he disappears and laurie runs out to find him hanging upside down above the car....DEAD!!!
Sam and Dean drive into town poseing as new fraternity brothers to get scoop they meet up with laurie and they find out she is the daughter of a minister.
It seems the hook man is not done with her yet, laurie goes to bed with her roomate sleeping across the room while the hook man waits in a dark corner, when laurie wakes up she finds blood all over the room and her roomate DEAD TOO!!
Written on the wall it says "aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights"
Sam and Dean come to the conclusion that this is the work of the hook man.... one of the most famous of urban legends
There is something different about this hook man, he has the ability to go invisible and that he has left his nine mile road area to kill those closest to laurie.
Sam and Dean find out that the hook man used to be Jacob Carnes a minsiter who preached about immorality.
Sam and Dean at first think laurie's father may be summoning the hook man since he is minister that preaches about immorality as well but they find out it is not him.
I will stop here for those who have not seen this episode yet, but I have to say this "Hook Man" was a great new take on a old urban legend.
The terror and creepy aspect of this famous killer was GREAT
Note: I moved this topic , forgot I had posted other episode reviews for "Supernatural" in here
