Found this on Scifi News Of The Week
Ain't It Cool News reported several rumors about the upcoming third X-Men movie, including the addition of three new mutants. The three new X-Men will be the blue-haired Beast, the Cajun Gambit and the winged mutant Angel, the site reported.
The site added that Angel will be female, unlike the character in the Marvel Comics series.
Beast will "serve the same role in these films that Morpheus did in The Matrix," the site reported.

Beast sounds great, but why the heck would they make Angel female? Dammit, I hate when they mess with stuff like that.

THe Director probably figure that Hey since they changed the sex of at least two of the characters in the new Battlestar Galactica show, "why not change the sex of one of the characters of the X-men, that fans will Love it." Note to self find moron that came up with idea and pummel with fish till dead.

Wait, why did I ask that, when the answer is so obvious? They want another female character to dress up in skin-tight leather! How silly of me!
I like your idea of pummeling-with-fish. Let's make it those spikey puffer fish.

yeah that is good had me a little worried, for their own health that is, I am sure a puffer fish would have been better, they have poison in them you know?--LOL-- so after you beat them with it you could have shoved it down their throat--LOL--

I thought lionfish were solitary, as opposed to school-fish? Maybe I'm just thinking of Captain Picard's lionfish, Livingston. I always wondered how the captain fed that thing.

Found this on Sliceofscifi.com site.
There will be three more additions to X-Men 3, the third chapter in the series based on Marvel Comics' popular superteam, currently under production with Brett Ratner at the helm.
Professor X's old love interest, Dr. Moira McTaggert of the Mutant Research Center on Muir Island, Scotland will be played by Olivia Williams. Williams is known by Sci-Fi and Fantasy fans for her appearances in films like "The Sixth Sense" and "Peter Pan."
It has also confirmed that actor/director Bill Duke of "Predator" fame will be playing a politician on the President's cabinet, not a scientist as previously reported, and that Michael Murphy, who had the title role in Robert Altman's "Tanner '88," will play Angel's father, Warren Worthington, Sr.

It sounds like it's really starting to shape up. I think they are adding some interesting new characters. I'm starting to look forward to this movie.
