This is one of the best Rpg games I have ever played on a console, It is just like playing ADnD, It is so open ended, You literally have 100's of different quests, and hundreds of different options, you can be almost any kind of character, follow any path you choose, good,evil,neutral-you decide- any class from strict Fighter to straight out thief and everthing inbetween. you decide how your character developes,if you want to just do the main quest you can, if you want to do something else you can, literally 1000's of playable hours. and way to much fun not to try out.

I agree, it is very free-form. I like the variety of guilds and organizations you can join. The landscapes are beautiful, and the quests are interesting.
I found the game to be very easy, however. It's too easy to 'power-train' your character. I killed the boss of the game in only two or three hits.

I am not sure but if you want to check it out then try www.elderscrolls.com/home/home.htmThis is will tell you a bit more about the game in it's entirety--I know you can get it on PC and X-Box but that isn't very helpful

Well as a mac user I'm just going to have to accept that I won't be playing this game.
