I had so much trouble with the third one that I never finished it. With the second one I had to do a walk through after getting about 2/3 rds of the way through. I'm finding that with each new one the puzzles are getting either to hard for me to figure out, and also that they are not putting in the amount of clues as to what's going on. In the last game to solve one of the puzzles you need to learn the D'ni. I think the one thing that I didn't like about the third on forth games was the the bothers Miller where not involved in then. game five though at least one of then is involved in the games design.

Whoa, you get to revisit Riven? Sweet. I have to get Myst IV and beat that first, though.

Update on the fate of Cyan Worlds. It looks like the company is not so much closing its doors as in going through changes in direction with the ending of their Myst series of games.
"While the production unit has been disbanded, Cyan will continue as a company, pursuing new endeavors for the future. In the next few weeks, Cyan is expecting to provide more information about their plans. Other than this, Ubisoft has no additional information about Cyan or their future plans."
