I just noticed, that the counter increments very time to click a link to the main page or hit reload on your browser. So the Counter isn't very accurate. I think that we need a counter that uses a cookie system to track us the users.

I was using this one because it was free but I would be willing to change it if you know of any that use cookie's and are free. I noticed that myself about the double counts a couple of day's ago.

I'll do a little research later this week, I maybe able to write one if I can't find one that is free, or I can contact an old class mate that might be able to give me a clue on doing one. I believe that he wrote one for his final project in Web Dev. I ran out of time to get fancy.

With this type of system the counter has to be set for every forum in the html. If it's only set for the main page it should only record for the main page. So, it has to be configured for every forum. I have one at Fantastic but I need to set it up for each forum that I have there for it to record each "hit" on each forum.

I figured that by putting it on the main page it would probably more accurately collect data for me on how many hits we were getting on a regular basis.
