Too Many Connections There are currently too many connections to this server. Please check back again in 30 seconds. I got this a few time when there was only a total of 2 members on, but I think that this may be more because of the number of users on teh server than on this board.

I saw the same message on Fantastic last night when it came back up. I agree with the assessment; it has to do with how many people are on the server. It puts in a 30 second delay before someone can post on the board, I think to prevent the server from being overloaded and possibly crashing.

Yes according to other forums on Proboards they all had the same thing happen as the Server was being upgraded--I do not know whether it is permanent, hoping not.

Well, support doesn't seem to care with the plethora of problems they have with so many boards complaining about so many problems. I'm glad they have the bookmark feature there as when a complaint is posted, it gets buried in a matter of minutes. There were over 300 posters with complaints while I spent most of the day there Monday. Tuesday wasn't much better. Now they are getting tired of hearing from people with the same complaints and are locking threads.
I've still been getting the message about Too Many Connections There are currently too many connections to this server. Please check back again in 30 seconds.
Then I have a problem that when I click on a smilie it duplicates anything I've typed. They did an upgrade, but now they say that the problem is with my Safari browser. Firefox freezes up my iMac, and so I got OmniWeb, and it duplicates smilies too. They still think it's me and not them. I didn't do anything different; they did the upgrade. Somehow they aren't connecting with all browsers, but I don't know the answer to the problem other than to not "smilie". Grrrrr : - {

At work my system thinks Proboards is a file which needs to be saved. At least the iMacs think it is. A Windows based system lets me bring up Proboards. It does seem a little odd that the server message is coming up since most other board systems don't get give you this message.
